It’s The Lost Sparks Luigi Special

This week on the Lost Spark Podcast Luigi Super Fan James and Antony take to the mics to talk about all things Luigi’s Mansion 3.  Join the guys as they take you through an in-depth hands-on review of a must-have game for 2019.

As well as busting ghost James and Antony have taken on Death Stranding and have been pleasantly surprised by how amazing this game is to play.

Death Stranding Reviews Are In

Hands-On With Marvel’s Avengers At EGX 2019

This week on the Lost Spark Podcast Stuart and Antony take to the mics to report on this year’s EGX and the awesome games they managed to see during the day.  We have hands-on with Marvel’s Avengers, Circuit Superstars, a great 4-player local and online racing game, Moving Out, a game that has Overcooked levels of craziness and the guys got to see the 45 minutes gameplay demo of Cyberpunk 2077.

Hands-on this week include Stuart wrapping up on the Gears 5 campaign and a game he discovered at EGX, Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Liar.  Antony continues his play through of Concrete Genie and a title that is fresh into Xbox Games Pass, Lonely Mountains: Downhill.

Fortnite’s Ballsy Move

New PlayStation 5 Details Get Us Excited

This week on the Lost Spark Podcast James and Antony deep dive into the new PlayStation 5 details that have emerged from the Wired article and get excited about the new enhancements to the next-gen console and controller.  Along with name and console details Sony also announced the “Holiday 2020” release date for the PlayStation 5. So with just over a year to go the guys start to ponder what the launch line-up will look like.

Hands-on impression this week include the Untitled Gooooooooooooooooooooooose Game, Link’s Awakening, Creature in the Well and Enter the Gungeon.  James also takes Mario Kart Wold Tour for a spin and Antony jumps into Borderlands 3.

Hands-on With Gears 5

This week on the Lost Spark Podcast it’s time for the Gears 5 review with Stuart and Antony.  In our non-spoilery review the guys take you through the great new gameplay additions to Gears as well as incredible improvements to the visuals and the audio.  This time around Gears has added amazing immersive audio with Dolby Atmos and Stuart takes it for a spin in the Just Add Popcorn demo room.

We also we have a Sparks first as the guys do a live beer review of the new Bandit Brew IPA, a Beavertown collaboration with Borderlands 3.

In the hands-on section this week the guys are all about Gears 5 but Antony has found the time to roll-credits on Control.

It’s September and James and Antony are podding together, that can mean only one thing, it’s time for Gamers of the Lost Bake Off Tent!! The guys do finally get into the latest gaming news but first they breakdown the first two episodes from the latest season of The Great British Bake Off.

When James and Antony do finally get around to discussing what they have been playing they get very excited about the latest game from Remedy, Control.  Listen in as James and Antony are overjoyed and excited about just how good Control is.

Hands-on impression also include Dicey Dungeon, Pandemic, more Slay the Spire and we knew it had to happen, Antony has jumped back into Viva Piñata (again!).

In the news section the guys discuss Overcooked 2’s new DLC coming in a week’s time, new games coming to Game Pass and all the rumours for the upcoming Nintendo Direct.

This week on the Lost Spark Podcast Stuart and Antony chat about Outer Worlds exclusivity, Destiny 2 gets cross-save from the end of August and the guys get excited about a FCC filing that may have revealed that Nintendo are going to release SNES games on the Switch.

In the hands-on section Stuart has been playing in the criminal underbelly of Redrock county with  American Fugitive, a 3D top-down open world game from Curve Digital.  Also taking advantage of the free weekend Stuart has discovered Vigor, a shoot ‘n’ loot shelter building game from the makers of DayZ and for a moment in the pod got Antony all excited when he said that he has been gardening, alas it wasn’t Viva Piñata but a post-nuclear Norwegian garden.

This week Antony has the Slay the Spire bug, passed on from James in the last episode. Antony is now deep into the deck building awesomeness of Slay the Spire, now available on Xbox via Game Pass.
