PSVR Excitement Grows – Will You Be Batty for VR?

With a week and change until PlayStation VR is launched the Sparks are going PSVR crazy! In this week’s podcast excitement is building as Antony prepares his game space for VR and scours the Official PSVR FAQ for hints, tips and features to get him started on day one. Are you, like Antony, hoping to be one of the day one PSVR massive?

The VR desk has a bumper edition of PSVR news this week in preperation for the big day on October 13th and spirits are high until… Could there be a slight oversight that dulls teh celebratory speculations somewhere in the VR soup?

The answer to this and of course the rest of life’s great questions lies deep within the pod.

The Sparks have hit the roads of Australia as they race trains, planes and each other in Forza Horizon 3.  Forza fever has griped the Sparks this week as both Darren (@DazWhitham) and Antony (@ChessmanUK) are playing Forza Horizon 3 non-stop!  Listen to this week’s podcast for full reaction to this amazing single-player racing game and the fun that can be had in multi-player.

If you are jumping into Forza Horizon 3 don’t forget to join the Gamers of the Lost Spark Car Club. Clubs become available in the game once you have unlocked your fifth festival expansion, so once unlocked search for GoLS in the clubs and join, we looks forward to racing you.

Once you’ve joined a car club, press the Start/Menu button to bring up the pause menu. Navigate to the Clubs tab, from which you can track club progress.

The main point of interest is the “Club Ladder.” Every car club has five tiers to progress through each week. At the end of the week, progress resets and everyone moves down to Tier 5. You reach new tiers by hitting XP milestones. The reward for reaching a new tier is a hefty credit bonus, so playing a lot definitely pays off.

The PS Plus titles for October have been announced and what a line up of stellar titles it is.  First up, we have the classic Resident Evil. This year Capcom is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the franchise, and this remastered HD version is the perfect way to enjoy the game that started it all.
