The PS4 Slim Is Out Now…On eBay!

This week we got our first glimpse at one of Sony’s surprises for their September 7th PlayStation Meeting as the new PlayStation 4 Slim popped up on sale on both Gumtree and eBay.  Both Eurogamer and Kotaku covered the story and one report from Eurogamer visited the seller at his home to verify the authenticity of the new PS4 Slim!

Has this ruined one of Sony’s surprise or does this clear the decks for the unveiling of the new PlayStation, currently codenamed Neo?

With only a few weeks away until the PlayStation Meeting can Sony protect its other secret announcements and not spring anymore leaks?

In this week’s news section EA and DICE have published a full outline of the brand new Battle Station mode coming to Star Wars Battlefront in its Death Star expansion; each match is a three-part mini-campaign of space combat, boarding action, and a final desperate push to destroy the Death Star.

In this exciting penultimate DLC expansion Players can become the hero of the Rebellion, Luke Skywalker, in his Red-5 X-wing and take on the Empire!

Also in this week’s news Jonathan Blow’s follow up to Braid, the perplexing puzzle game The Witness, the game that had both James and Antony head scratching and scribbling random shapes on scraps of paper is heading to Xbox One with release date of 13th September.  Also in an Indi exclusive swap you can now buy Playdead Studio’s Inside on PlayStation 4.

And we have the free games for September on Xbox Live, this month On Xbox One, this month you can download Earthlock: Festival of Magic and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China. Over on Xbox 360, starting Thursday, September 1st, Forza Horizon and a Spark favourite Mirror’s Edge.
