Halo 5: Grumblings – Don’t Locke the Chief Behind Convoluted Story…

The Sparks are back!  As the dust settles on Sanghelios Darren and Antony discuss Halo 5: Guardians. Was it enjoyable? Was it a true Halo game? And is the leaning away from time playing Master Chief a boon or a blemish on the series?

Plus, in light of recent sales figures showing PS4 outselling Xbox One by a significant margin, the Sparks debate what the fundamental reason is here, we know games sell consoles but is PS4 widening the gap on it’s technical prowess alone?

In this week’s news section we run through the latest gaming news; talk about how you can earn money to play the greatest games line up on Xbox One, we have hot news on the new Nintendo NX and Activision buys Candy Crush maker King for a ridiculous amount of money!

We breakdown the new free games for November on both PS Plus and Games with Gold.  This month’s highlight is the wonderful game from Grimm Brothers, ‘Dragon Fin Soup‘; half story-driven tactical RPG and half high-stakes roguelike, with a pinch of crass humor and a heaping helping of murder & madness set in a procedurally generated fantasy world, all on the back of a giant turtle!!

Also this week Antony goes hands on with the new Xbox One Elite Controller, hear the verdict after 10+ hours of Halo 5
